Why bother

The bit you see through the spokes

Fresh wheels make rusty callipers obvious. It's a small job that changes how the whole corner of the car looks, and it's cheapest to do while the wheels are already off for a refurb.

  • Degreased and cleaned back — years of dust and surface rust removed first.
  • Masked properly — discs, pads and bleed nipples protected. Paint belongs on the calliper, nowhere else.
  • High-temperature paint — formulated for brake heat, not ordinary aerosol that discolours by the second hot lap.
  • Decals if you want them — applied and sealed under a clear coat.
  • Carriers and drums too — rear drums and hubs can be finished to match.
Colours

Pick a colour that works

Red is the classic and suits almost everything. Blue picks up our own colours and looks sharp behind a dark wheel. Black is the subtle option when you want the callipers tidy rather than shouting.

Yellow and orange stand out hardest through an open spoke design — worth seeing against your wheel colour before you commit, which is exactly what the preview below is for.

Bring the car to the unit if you want to see samples in daylight against your paint.

Questions

Common questions

Will the paint survive the heat?

We use high-temperature calliper paint made for the job. Ordinary aerosol discolours and flakes — this doesn't.

Should I do it with a wheel refurb?

It's the sensible time. The wheels are already off, so you're not paying twice for the same strip-down.

Can I have decals?

Yes, applied and sealed under a clear coat so they don't peel at the edges.

Can you do the rear drums too?

Yes — rear drums and hubs can be finished to match the front callipers.
